Mean Feat

Absurd, whimsical and mesmerizing, Mean Feat introduces an extraordinary cast of fantastical creations.

Featuring a stunning butterfly forest, the shy Supersocks, a Red Army and menacing treads, this gentle film was screened for a year on Melbourne’s Federation Square screens and was part of a kinetic backdrop to White Night Melbourne’s marathon dance stage Trippin’ the Light Fantastic.

Produced by Fine Lines Dance, Mean Feat was conceived and directed by Katrina Rank, filmed and edited by Justin Batchelor, with original music composed by Howard Dillon.

It was supported through arts development grants from the cities of Banyule and Darebin.
