Fine Lines Dance is a community of mature dancers who come together for classes, workshops and projects.
Our mission is to challenge attitudes, stereotypes and assumptions about what dance is and who can be a dancer.
Innovation and collaboration
Fine Lines Dance is artistically driven, with many creative works under our belt and the respect of the dance industry, shown most recently by the Australian Dance Award for Outstanding Achievement in Community Dance for our 2019 work, The Right.
Making work with local communities
Fine Lines Dance works with the broader community across a range of projects. We started with Mean Feat in 2015, a story about discovery and acceptance.
Our current project, Artefact, is an exploration of fire, passion and drive. Help us make this work in 2022-2023!

Continuing creative journeys
Fine Lines Dance believes that once a dancer, always a dancer. Our classes and projects are for those who have danced before - a long time before, recently, or somewhere in between.
